The place where a new fragment of the sun struck. The starting point of everything.
Near the town of Arkend, in northern Valeryn, a new fragment of the sun struck and left a crater in the landscape. The fragment was not an ancient Solar Stone — it was new. Proof that the sun is still breaking.
Around the crater, General Tarek Valcor established an orderly field camp. He had foreseen the impact — or at least expected it. The fragment in the crater pulsed. Kael felt its connection to the currents before he saw it. And Valcor felt Kael.
The crater is the first place where Kael consciously touches the energy of a Solar Stone — and the first place where the world recognises what he is.
